You aim to maximize yield by planting the hybrid that will do the best, on average, across the whole field. But yield environments often change in the same field, calling for different hybrids in different areas. You've had to make compromises, but not anymore.

With the radically new vSet Select, there are no compromises. You can plant two hybrids in the same row, switching back and forth as environments change, to plant the hybrid that will produce the most in each environment. That maximizes yield.

Any mapping software can make the two-hybrid prescription shape file that is used by vSet Select, or operators can manually switch from one hybrid to another.

Ordinary finger meters have a hard time singulating, especially with a wide variety of seeds. They’ll miss one, then grab two, resulting in skips and doubles. That not only wastes seeds, it cuts your yield.
Because the components all mesh perfectly, Precision Meters hold one seed at a time, then release it. They’re engineered and built to do it again and again. You’ll see fewer skips and doubles – and higher yield.

Time Lapse Truth

These time lapse photos show how seeds slow down when they make contact with the seed tube.
In the left tube, the seed has hit the sensor and the strobe light exposes its winding path down the tube. That seed spends .11 seconds in the seed tube which translates to 11 inches from the previous seed.
In the right tube, the seed has a direct path to the seed trench and only spends .07 seconds in the seed tube, and is the correct distance from the previous seed - seven inches.

Fix two big planter problems easily, quickly, and inexpensively.
